About Me

Hi! I am a recent UCF Advertising and Public Relations graduate currently pursuing a masters in digital communication and strategy from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

While at UCF, I combined my love for nature and the environment with my career path in the field of advertising/public relations as a Media & Marketing Intern for the UCF Arboretum. In this position, I generated content for social media, interacted with followers via social media platforms, and covered on-campus events. From Fall 2022 until my graduation in Spring 2023, I took on the role of Media & Marketing Team Co-Coordinator, in which I managed several interns by assigning projects and ensuring their completion.

I also concurrently was a public relations intern at Wellons Communications. I truly enjoyed working as part of a team in an agency setting. Working in such an encouraging environment had a tremendously positive impact on my learning experience. Having Lucy, the office dog, around is always a plus. In my time at Wellons, I created content for social media, gathered and reviewed social media analytics, wrote blogs, press releases, and social media copy and created pitches for local media for several clients. 

Currently, I am a Public Relations Intern at Nemours Children’s Health, where I write content for blogs, press releases, and cover local events involving the hospital.
